Private Pay Option
Private Pay has some major benefits to you as the client. With private pay, my services are completely based on your needs and goals for therapy instead of dictated by the insurance companies who can decide duration of sessions, length of services, and frequency of meetings. Private Pay also allows you more privacy, since insurance companies require a diagnoses that will be on your medical record forever. And insurance companies have the right to view confidential session notes to determine coverage. Finally, private pay allows me more time to focus on what’s important, your mental health needs, rather than spending time filing all the required paperwork for billing insurance.
I am an out of network provider with insurance companies not mentioned above, and can provide you with a superbill. If you would like to explore insurance reimbursement, that may be an option.
